On Sunday, October 24th from noon to 4PM (Doors at 11:30am) Musicians on a Mission will present CHANNELING WOODSTOCK – OPEN MIC & FOOD DRIVE outdoors at the Stay Gold Café, 38 Ramtown-Greenville Rd, Howell Township, NJ . Our guest host will be Barbara Paskin. https://staygoldcafe.com/

MOAM OPEN MIC FORMAT – Each performer is allowed 3 songs or 12 minutes (whichever comes first). You may only sign up for ONE 12-minute time slot. Twelve minutes is the TOTAL time on and off stage. All times are APPROXIMATE.

Our theme will be music about the legendary Woodstock festival that took place 52 years ago this past August, which means you should perform at least two songs that have to do with our theme, plus one more song (cover or original). Your chosen theme songs may be any song that mentions anything about Woodstock, or a song that was sung at Woodstock, or even a song from one of the many artists who performed during those "3 Days of Peace & Music." Don't worry if someone else is singing "your song" because everyone has a different take on any given song. Support for other performers is a priority for MOAM, so please show up early and stay late. There will be a grand finale song (I SHALL BE RELEASED which was sung at Woodstock by Joan Baez, Joe Cocker and The Band!) for everyone to share at the end of the event. Plan to stay for the finale. We'll get together at Stay Gold at 11:30AM and start the music at 12 noon. Admission is a $5 donation or $3, plus two non-perishable food donations at the door for all attendees, including performers. Since this is also a food drive, it is suggested that you bring non-perishable food donations - proceeds to benefit FULFILL, formerly known as the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. http://fulfillnj.org/
